​For more than 30 years, Able Auto Repair has served Gardena and the South Bay with a simple philosophy: do the work right, treat people fairly, and build relationships that last.

Today, that legacy continues under owner and Master Technician Emiliano Mendoza.

​

Emiliano's history with Able Auto Repair goes back to the beginning of his career. He started at Able before moving into the BMW dealership environment, where he spent years developing specialized expertise and completing extensive BMW Factory Service Training, BMW Group University training, MINI technical training, and advanced high-voltage vehicle education.

 

His training spans BMW and MINI vehicle systems, advanced diagnostics, electrical and electronic systems, engine technology, chassis systems, complete-vehicle platforms, hybrid technology, PHEV systems, and high-voltage battery service.

 

After building that experience, Emiliano returned to the independent shop where his career began.

Eventually, when Able's longtime owners were ready to step away, they entrusted the business to someone they knew could carry its reputation forward.

Emiliano became the owner of Able Auto Repair.

​Today, Able combines something increasingly difficult to find: manufacturer-specific technical knowledge with the accountability of an independently owned repair shop.

 

When you bring your BMW or MINI to Able, the person responsible for the technical standard of the shop is also the person who owns the business.

 

We believe accurate diagnosis comes before replacing parts. We believe customers deserve to understand what their vehicle needs and why. And we believe specialized automotive service should be built on expertise, transparency, and workmanship—not pressure.
